Social Media & Marketing Director

Pro Bono basis 3-5 hrs/month

The Perth Foundation for Women is seeking a dedicated and creative Social Media and Marketing Director to join our team. This pro-bono position requires a commitment of 3-5 hours per month to contribute to our mission of empowering and supporting women in the Perth community. As the Social Media and Marketing Director, you will play a crucial role in increasing our foundation's visibility, engagement, and impact through strategic digital marketing efforts

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and marketing strategy to promote the foundation's mission, events, and initiatives.

  • Manage and curate content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

  • Create compelling and shareable content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that align with the foundation's values and objectives.

  • Monitor and engage with online audiences, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with other team members to gather information about upcoming events, achievements, and stories to share on social media.

  • Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

  • Stay updated with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the foundation's online presence remains relevant and impactful.

Eligibility 

  • A passion for the empowerment and well-being of women, and a strong alignment with the foundation's mission.

  • Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields.

  • Proficiency in using various social media platforms and scheduling tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.

  • Previous experience with nonprofit organizations or community-focused initiatives is a plus, but not mandatory.

  • Access to a computer and internet connection for remote work.

  • Availability to dedicate 3-5 hours per month to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
